Founding ML Scientist
Iain Rolland is a seasoned deep learning expert in geospatial foundation model development and Earth observation. His previous PhD research at the University of Cambridge has been focused on unique innovative applications of geospatial foundation models.
Barbara Metzler, PhD
Founding ML Scientist
Barbara Metzler is a research scientist in geospatial AI, Earth observation and geospatial foundation models. Formerly at The Alan Turing Institute, she conducted post-doctoral research on the urban applications of geospatial foundation models. Dr. Metzler holds a PhD degree from Imperial College London in geospatial AI and Earth observation.
Cengiz Avci
Founding Engineer
Geospatial data scientist with expertise in remote sensing and computer vision. Completed M.Sc. in Satellite Communication and Remote Sensing at Istanbul Technical University. Previously, research assistant at Koç University and Data Scientist at Doktar Technologies. Currently developing transformer-based geo-foundation models at Globeholder.
